  Day 4 in Wien!
Wow! Let me just say that those e-mails from everyone are making my day! Seriously, you all are the best friends ever! It makes me a little homesick...but I must honestly say that I love it here...minus all the classes...So yesterday after class we went to eat at the restaurant that we get the one free meal...it was hot dogs on stuff that tasted like cauliflower and for dessert we had this incredibly fattening cake...White wine with every meal of course! cause it's included! SWEET! Then after that we went back to the flat and took a nap...like we do everyday....we then went down town by that really pretty church again...there was a magician who pulled a girls bra off through her shirt...pretty good seeing as most guys can't even unclasp them...then there was this other guy dressed and painted in all silver and he stood still like a statue and did a jig when someone put money in his hat....reminded me of San Francisco...we then walked around trying to get ourselves lost to no avail...we did however come across a house that Mozart once lived in...the buildings are beautiful here...the city is clean...really clean! We tried last night on the way home to find a place to buy beer to sit at the flat and drink but everything around here is closed by like 8 pm...most things aren't even open on Sundays...I woke up at like 4 am and couldn't fall back asleep so I just stayed up...I guess I'm not fully adjusted to the time change....Also Ang, you couldn't survive here..I have yet to find Mountain Dew or even Mountain Lightning! haha...pop is very special around here...they usually only drink it with meals...everyone here is really skinny too! Damn Austrians! haha....I went and had coffee by myself this morning...I even did the whole process only speaking in German...not too shabby for how little I've been here....The public transportation here is so popular...we ride the trolley everywhere....but there still is a lot of walking...these people love stairs! Well I'm done with class for the day so we're going back to the flat to eat and then start some more adventuring..I think we'll probably go to the botanical gardens...it's free! haha....Talk to you all soon! Ali, look forward to having you come here...I don't know for sure if you have the right number but I'll put it on here in tomorrow's post and if anyone else would like to use it they can! Miss you all like somethin' fierce! Hang in there Ang...it's only 3 and a half more weeks :) Auf Wiedersehen!
